Okay friends! On this episode of Gritty Bowmen Mark Brownlee and myself hang out with our friend Greg Munther at the annual (BHA) Backcountry Hunters and Anglers Rendezvous. Greg is from the older generation… like he’s 72 years old. But he doesn’t seem that old--he’s still getting out and killing big horn sheep, coues deer, mule deer, and elk with his stickbow, which he’s been shooting his entire life. Greg tells us how he uses Llamas to help him get things done in the backcountry. He’s an inspiring person. And his passion for the outdoors and for hunting is infectious. In his younger years, Greg Munther was a Forest Service biologist, District Ranger and natural resource consultant. He has been roaming the hills, streams and lakes of Montana continuously since 1976, with passions split between bowhunting, bird hunting and flyfishing. He lives in Missoula with his wife, Sherry, of 35 years and their German Shorthair Pointer Lucy, and their 3 llamas. Greg is the BHA Montana Chapter Chairman. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Greg Munther.
